These classes aim to foster a deeper connection with their families and help children embrace their cultural roots with pride.
"Engaging Chinese Learning" course primarily uses the Jinan University "Chinese" (暨南《中文》) textbook. This textbook was commissioned by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China and developed by the College of Chinese Language and Culture at Jinan University. It was designed specifically for the needs and characteristics of overseas Chinese education, aimed at Chinese elementary school students attending after school Chinese learning in Europe and America. The goal of this curriculum is to teach students with basic skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Mandarin Chinese, while also imparting fundamental knowledge of Chinese culture.
